Will you be adding the inflation kit for your tyres? If you are doing an st lookalike then I think you should cut it out to get the proper st look.

I'm still going to keep my space saver in boot maybe as you can get foam boot raisers. But may just chuck a can in instead lol. Got full Rac breakdown cover anyway ha!

I think you should go to B&Q purchase a mixer tap and a U-bend drain pipe,

The tyre well would make a nice basin for a sink in the garage,

Overall though i think your mad, are you welding in a floor from an ST ?

Judges could catch you out there if ya didn't  only havin a laugh.

The ST had the foam surround kit as an optional extra enabling it to carry the space saver wheel,

This kit was also available for the standard focus enabling it to carry a full size 16" spare wheel.

As already said the ST uses a 12v compressor with foam,

See my guide here to add the 12v boot socket that powers the compressor:

And here's one for the st pod:

Aha. No what where doing is. Cutting the boot but leaving a lip if you get me

So not flat. Have a lip weld over the lip the same round plate which would look like it's there to tell you that's where the wheel goes ha! And tbh I want to keep my space saver you never know what could go wrong so want the foam kit. Someone selling it but 50 pound.

Going to try some salvage places

sounds good,

That spacer kit costs over 200 pounds from ford,

I have it myself got it from them when buying the car,

Consists of a different shaped carpet, longer wheel clamp rod, and two foam sections,

I only use it on long journeys though,

Due to the weight of the full spare, jack etc. Like yourself i have AA road side assistance so i dont carry a spare daily,

I bought a foam tyre well filler from a Mk1 RS to fill the tyre well prevents sagging when shopping is in the boot
