Dagenham motors said they would touch it up with a paint pen!!!!! Or better aerosol.

I think it needs a respary a round the boot.

Any advice people?

How can a car leave the factory with such a bad defect.

Its due to the seam sealant on some areas and thin paint on others and a common issue when you get flexible seam sealant with paint on it however fords are bad for it and a touch up is likely all they will do they rarely respray it you can try argue with them its poor i admit but ford get away with it you can ask for a test where they can tell you the thickness of the paint its supposed to be a certain thickness ford know the paint warranty is short so touch up cars when it runs out and tge rust appears theyll want to respray it at youre expense you can also call ford uk complaints they will then tell the dealer what to do

But the paint is peeling off when washed and dried.

Can't see who theyll get away with out putting their hand in their pocket?

Another note misses just kerbed and ruined a mint wheel ;(
