Ford Focus 1.8 Dci 1999 (V)

Featured Replies

I have a ford focus 1.8 dci 1999 it had a problem with the fuel injector it has no pressure and wont start or even fire, I was told this could be replaced without have to re code it, sadly after fitting the replacement pump I get the same problem but on top of this problem the dash lights display a immobiliser fault too now, I was told that the age of my focus fuel injector pump did not need re programing to my system, could this be a fault on my old pumps edu module ? the long and short of it is there's not enough pressure to operate the injectors. Any help would be fantastic. :)

Ok, after removing the circuit board edu from my old pump in one piece and replacing it in the replacement pump it now pumps strong and operates the injectors only thing now I've flattened the battery trying to bleed the system but it will run after the battery has charged up again because it was firing just before it started to go flat.
