Help. Fog Lamp Lens Smashed

Hi all. I have the new fiesta st 180 and when driving home from work the car in front flicked a stone at my front drivers fog light and shattered the glass. Does anyone know how much a new fog light on the st 180 will cost me and what the best way of preventing this from happening again. Any help appreciated... xx

    A new fog light unit will be about £60 from Ford.

    You could add some protective film but TBH you were very unlucky to break a lens, I've never had one go in all the years I've been driving.

    It's one of those things that just happens tbh, I don't drive too close to people to avoid stone chips etc but got one yesterday when some prat flew past me, annoying isn't it! Lol
