    the gromet on the bulk head, just lower than where the battery sits

    As Martin says, you need that grommet, then puncture a hole and feed the wire through, this will take it behind the glove box.

    Then, run the wire down the left hand side of the car (easiest answer is to run the wires under the door seals, behind the pillars, and then keep going through to the boot.
