My new Focus windows will not one touch up and down, I have looked on youtube and can get the windows to roll down with one touch but not back up again with one touch. Any ideas. Thanks.

Take it back to the dealer as may need the proper diagnostics machine to set it up properly

I think that you may just have the standard system. Take to the dealer. You may just have touch down. My car has the same. No2 not 3 so Ford may changed it but not sure.

What model focus do you have ,as i have a 2011 mk 3 Zetec trim that has one touch up and down windows.

Have you tried holding the button down when full open for 2-3 secs then same again fully closed 2-3 secs a couple of times to set it.

do a reset.

Turn the key to position 1.

Press the Down button and hold, once it reaches the bottom of the screen and stops, hold for 5 seconds.

Then

Press the Up button and hold, once it reaches the top of the screen and stops, hold it for 5 seconds.

As long as you hold the button after it stops, you should find that the once touch is all reset.

I have had to do this a couple of times after messing around on my car, as the BCM forgets and needs reteaching of the one stop. I had it to the point where Universal opening and closing of windows would happen on all but the drivers window :p

On the MK3, I believe only Titanium spec cars have one touch up and down... Zetec definitely only has one touch down on the driver's side I'm afraid (unless the car has the option of all round electric windows)

I had this happen on my mk3 zs!

It makes sense now, couldn't figure out why at the time :)
