Focus Mk6 Side Mirror Repair

Good morning all

I have had some little !Removed! smack my mirror off last night, there doesn't look to be huge damage.

the unit itself has become dis-attaché from the body and the cap has come off (no broken clips)

there is a circular piece at the top of the mirror where the wires come through, do I push and twist in place ? or is there a knack to it

Any help would be appreciated

Sounds to me like its the MK2.5 Focus?

Can you post some pictures? sounds something isnt right about now.

Usually once a mirror is separated from it's mount it's pretty much impossible to re-attach.

Are the wires still connected or is the mirror totally off?
