Is the Ford race red touch up pen on a good match? Need to sort out a lovely stone chip !

You could buy it a test it on a hidden spot in the car first

i never trust the ford paint colour, as my car is near 5 years old new paint will look different to mine, so i had mine colour matched to be 100% it cost me £30 for a set of 3 pens all in the correct colour of my car which is vision blue but as the suns been on it its a slighty duller vision blue than the paint code said very slight difference in the paint batches, but i could see i difference so better to be safe than sorry

Where did you get the colour match from Dan?

About 5mins from my house is a big car body repair garage and they do all sorts thats where ive had my plastics painted and knew they had a colour coding machine so i toke them my car after a fresh clean and they done it for me toke like 2 days to wait for the pens to be made but spot on you carnt tell any difference

Result, shame about the cost, a little high, but its quality and guarantee I guess!

It isn't a metallic colour, but I used a Halfords pen on my old 'Dark True Blue' car and it matched right up. Did a few stone chips and managed to cover up a part where a real bodge was done to cover a stone chip.

I've bought the pens from Halfords to match the colour of my fiesta and mines a 59 plate so about 4/5 years old and picked the exact colour (Colorado red) and worked a treat!
