2010 2.0 Tdci Focus Titanium

What euro stage engine do they have? (including 2011 version as well). I'm getting mixed results between stage IV and V. I'd prefer a 5 so that I have less to worry about with the DPF fluid. I've seen all kinds of results across t'interweb.

Thanks in advance!

Kye

Its a stage IV with cDPF (Ceramic DPF) which is coated and maintenance free, so doesnt have the EOLYS fluid.

Perfect, thanks very much. :)

One thing I did read on my searching was, if there is a magnet near the fuel cap hinge, the car had the fluid. No magnet present, no fluid. Is this correct or not?

thats the first I have heard of it to be honest!

What about the 2009 2.0 TDCI?

As far as I recall, all MK2.5 engines are Euro IV compliant with a cDPF, I cant quite recall if the 1.8 is DPF free as per the MK2, but I believe they are of the same compliance.

If you go to http://etis.ford.com then go to the registration lookup, pop your car plate in and it will tell you what standard your car was manufactured to :)

the 1.8 range until its end doesn't have DPF at all AFAIK
