Just replaced my OEM Michelin Pilot Sport 3's (235/40x18 W95) with Avon ZZ5s and I thought I had gone deaf!!, road noise so dramatically reduced and they were a lot cheaper too. The ride seems a lot smoother as well :) got 24,000 out of the fronts and 31,000 from the rears - is that good??

having the ZV5's fitted tomorrow myself,

Ive had ZZ3 fitted since april last year and i got 48,000km out of the front set, rears are still good and fantastic grip in wet and dry,

Sadly they dont make the ZZ3 anymore so im going with ZV5 tomorrow.

I've got a couple of Falkens on the front of mine. Great tyre! My Focus has never handled this well before! Bags of grip and even more precise steering. It feels twitchy compared to how it was.

having wheels tracked/aligned properly will make a massive difference on how a car behaves.

Yep. I get them done with each tyre change and every few months or so. Never had this much fun though. Falken might become my top brand. Just need to see what they're like in the wet and being pushed.

This Tuesday took the car to a race track - what a grip these tyres got! Unbelievable. :)

Guess this was the first Focus CC in the living history driven on a race track. :D
