Looking ti get a new fiesta but not sure what to go for. Don't want something thats brand new but something thats 6months old or so. Whats the best fiesta to get for overall performance, mpg, looks and of course the drive?

Yeah heard they were quite good. I was originally looking at the 1.6 zetec s

The 1.0T 125 is a more modern more efficient engine than the 1.6 but it depends on your budget of course.

Well might be a tad biased here, but I adore mine and the money is really decent and you can pick up a really tidy deal for one in very good nick, paid £9000 for mine and it was untouched, in showroom condition and had 19000 miles on it.

And there's plenty modifications for it :D

I agree with Ikoyian. You can get a really spotless example for a bargain. But if you can afford the ecoboost I'd jump at it. Better overall economy and a tiny bit faster than the 1.6.

I got nearly 59mpg (according to the trip) on a motorway run last week, sitting at 70mph most of the way. I average 45mpg around town driving steady.

Either way you are getting a good car that handles and drives well, so it's a win - win!

Yup! Very dependent on budget.

Also I think the facelift looks a tiny bit tastier!

I think the FRONT of the facelift looks better, the rear end I dislike, the fake mesh type insert isn't doing it for me. I have contemplated putting in the pre-facelift insert in but can't be bothered faffing about with rivets etc

Yeah, although it's a fresher look! And the interior's of a much higher standard (somehow) haha

I don't blame you, fitting my ST diffuser was SUCH a faff! Looks alright though ;) haha

Cheers mate :) good choice on your alloys on yours ;) haha they're my favourites! Tempted to get a set for mine :P

Yeah they grow on you. Pain to clean as they have a small gap at the end of each spoke. Currently in two minds as my car is currently up for sale but the more I think on it the more I don't want to sell it - I just want to spend all summer modding it haha.
