Help With Sourcing A New Turbo Air Feed Pipe.

Featured Replies

Hi guys.

I noticed a slight hissing sound coming from around the airbox so I did a bit of fiddling and found a split in the pipe that leads from the airbox to the inlet (don't know the technical term for this ribbed pipe)?

Anyway, need to source a new one, can anyone recommend a trusted seller on ebay where I can get a replacement?

I would like a silicon replacement as opposed to the original ribbed pipe if that's possible?

My car is 2009 (59) 1.6 TDCI FYI.

Just had DPF removal and remap and think that it was either damaged whilst they were removing DPF or the increased boost pressure has maybe damaged an already weak link??

Thanks in advance

Mike.

Hi martyn.

Very similar to that but larger in diameter and without the extra spur off pipe.

Will nip out to the car now and take a pic of the offending pipe......

Won't allow me to upload the pic for some reason? Will try the old fashioned way with a laptop...

Hi guys. Sorry for the delay.

This air pipe leading from the airbox. Its damaged and needs replacing. Like I said, would prefer a silicon replacement if at all possible.

Mike.

Yeah mate, like that. Would that fit my car martyn? Looks like I need something around 100mm in diameter (or there abouts). Has anyone actually fitted a silicon replacement for this part??
