Ford Fiesta 2010/11 Audio Unit Options

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Newbie here so hello to all to start :)

I am looking at getting a Fiesta titanium around 2010/11 but am confused by the audio head unit options. I have seen a 3 variants I think

1) Sony branded glossy model

2) Non-branded matt model

3) Non-branded matt model with 0 to 9 numeric buttons (assuming phone option?)

According to the sales blurb on a reg BG60 model I looked at today its a Sony unit with 6 speakers (I looked and it was option 3 from above).

Can any of you please confirm what models were actually available and if number 3 is a Sony unit with 6 speakers?

Thanks :)

Richard

The stereo options are:

  • Basic 6 button stereo with aux input
  • 9 button stereo with aux, Bluetooth and sometimes USB
  • Sony with aux, Bluetooth & not 100% but I think most/all will be with USB

USB usually means 6 speakers as opposed to 4 and the ability to stream audio over Bluetooth from your phone.

Thanks for that. So, the one I saw today without Sony branding but with 9 numerics would not be Sony? Is this car the model released before June 2010 when all Fiesta Titaniums then came with Sony head units? Thanks

It may have been built before that came in to effect yes.
