Part Come Off Fiesta Air Con

hi all. today i was removing the radio bezel from my 2005 mk6 fiesta and a part came off. Ive attached an image of it. the green end was connected to the directional dial of the air conditioning (one that chooses where air comes out of) and the other part was bent up and looked like it was coming from somewhere up in the dash

The air con still works, however obviously I'm unable to change the type of air that comes out and its stuck on whatever one it was before the thing came off.

any one able to help me? can i reattach this part myself and how so?! any help appreciated!

    The black end goes into a notch down beside the lower right corner of where the radio sits.

    Scootch down in the drivers footwell with a torch and you will find it.

    Thanks so much. Found it pretty easily and now my air con works as normal.
