Millers Oils DPF Cleaner and Regenerator ensures that the diesel particulate filter (DPF) is regenerated even during short trips and stop / start driving where exhaust temps are usually too low to clean / burn of the trapped soot particles, this can lead to the engine been inefficient and in some cases the warning light will illuminate requiring immediate action. This little bottle offers fast results without the expense of dismantling or renewal. It cleans and regenerates the DPF and fuel injection system, providing optimum fuel economy, reducing emissions and restoring engine power.

Easy to use….. Simply empty the complete contents into fuel tank before filling with diesel to ensure a thorough mixing. One 250ml bottle treats 60 litres of fuel.

Because it doesnt clean injection system.it shall we say, shifts deposits fIrther into tips of injector nozzles and cloggs em up.any injector cleaning is only good if injectors are stripped and ultrasonically cleaned etc.

Are all chemical cleaners for injectors pointless/harmful or is it just this one?

I have spoken to Millers about your comments and they disagree about injector cleaners (although they have realised there is an issue with the data sheet, the DPF cleaner does not have injector cleaner properties.

They sent me a couple of pictures showing injector tips where fuel detergents haven't been used

And where fuel detergents have been used.

With the content of biodiesel in diesel now, injector cleaning is becoming more important.

deluded mate. Do you Believe Everything companies tell you? Go ask a well known diesel pump specialist or injector refurbisher what their opinions are.

Ps:why are you speaking to millers? Do you think that a company like theirs are actually going to tell you the truth? I wonder mmmnn

No, I don't believe everything companies tell be, but I also don't believe everything people on forums have to say. Those photos show the difference injector cleaners make, so evidence in their favour, rather than just your word against them. Don't get me wrong, people that professionally clean injectors will probably do a better job of cleaning an injector than a chemical, but the chemical method is a preventative rather than cure.
