Rear Wiper Has Become Unattatched From Arm

Featured Replies

I drive a 05 mkII Ford Focus 2.0 petrol zetec climate.

It has not rained for a while round here so the car is quite dusty.

It rained today so the rear wiper has wiped quite a bit of muck off the rear window, so I decided to give the blade a wipe with a tissue to get rid of some of the muck on the blade.

I lifed the arm up and started cleaning the blade - the blade (in it's metal housing) came away from the arm!

I don't know if a metal clip has broken (I can't see any broken parts), or if it's just unclipped itself from the arm.

Any idea why it has come loose and how to reattach it?

Thanks

It just clips straight back on, no moving parts to break.

So it looks like it has just come unattached.

I did have a go at clipping it back on but I couldn't do it.

Are there any picures I could look at to give me an idea what to do?
