joelwool
Hi, sometimes when I turn the key it won't start. but it I take the key out and try again 30 seconds later it will start. I am led to believe it could be the crank shaft sensor giving a bad reading sometimes. does anyone know where I will find it on my engine, it looks straight forward to change if I knew where it was. it is a zetec se 2005 1.6 petrol. many thanks. karlos1987
Can't remember on the focus. But on my mum's corsa it was on drivers side. Have you got a Haynes manual? Sent from my C5303 using Ford OC mobile app
sonic113
Joel From memory I think : if its the standard 1.6 zetec engine its located on the front of the engine block beside the gearbox and is best accessed from under car as there is more room to get at it. you will see a black clip with wires going into it. Undo the clip and the sensor itself is help on with one bolt or screw, I cant remember which ad what size, but you wont miss it. Good luck.
