AJRTDDI
i have a knocking noise. Sounds very engine related.. Sounds top left of engine bay (by diesal filter)My Cambelt snapped few months ago. I cant remember if i had this problem before or after it went.i had few sightly bent valves. The engine never stalled when cambelt went. (i pulled over and turned engine off and restarted then it snapped before restarting (200-250rpm)It was a complete head rebuild. New seals, New valves ect. There was 2 very tiny marks on piston, That i sanded smooth with 800 Grit sandpaper (Very fine marks). There was no movment in pistons and piston walls looked great for 140,000 Diesal miles.I'v replaced Both bottom arms.Could a Top mount make this noise??maybe engine mounts??
