Knocking Low Rpm. Worse Up Hills.

Featured Replies

i have a knocking noise. Sounds very engine related.. Sounds top left of engine bay (by diesal filter)

My Cambelt snapped few months ago. I cant remember if i had this problem before or after it went.

i had few sightly bent valves.

The engine never stalled when cambelt went. (i pulled over and turned engine off and restarted then it snapped before restarting (200-250rpm)

It was a complete head rebuild. New seals, New valves ect.

There was 2 very tiny marks on piston, That i sanded smooth with 800 Grit sandpaper (Very fine marks). There was no movment in pistons and piston walls looked great for 140,000 Diesal miles.

I'v replaced Both bottom arms.

Could a Top mount make this noise??

maybe engine mounts??
