2008 1.8 Tdci Injectors In 2006 Focus

Featured Replies

Hi, i have seen a list for the injectors on a 2008 Focus 1.8 TDCI with the 4m5q-9f593-ad ADQTL FC30 listed as the model code. i currently have 4m5q-9f593-ad ADQTL EE21 on the car.

I know the 2008 models have a 125hp from the engine and mine has 115, will a new ECU/wiring/programming be needed to upgrade to these injectors?

I will not need to re-code the injectors on my car as that was only for the pre-MK2 delphi injectors. so it should be a straight swap, im just not sure of the difference in injector codes that will mean more than just a straight change

Can anyone shed some light on this?

Thanks.
