Fitting Power Fold Mirrors 59Plate Focus

Featured Replies

Hi, I have a 59 plate focus which appears not to have power fold mirrors. It does not have a button.

I am assuming the motors will not be built into the mirrors.

Does anyone have any ideas on how expensive it would be to do this?

I believe I would need to purchase two motors, a relay and program the car such that the function is turned on.

You'll find the info here

http://www.fordownersclub.com/forums/topic/38321-anyone-retrofitted-power-fold-mirrors/

You'll need 2 new mirrors, the switch plus have to add a couple of wires into the loom and an EML327 dongle, or access to someone else who has 1 with the software.

If your car doesn't have door modules then you're looking at a more complicated job
