I received some paint from lenny to tart up my engine cover some time back.

I finally got round to getting it done only to realise my car hasn't got an engine cover.

Does anyone know if I can get one? Any links? It's a focus mk2.5 1.6 petrol.

    probably a thread loop - where it jumped back to the wrong thead :p

    Diesel by default has the covers, but for petrol all you need to do is buy the cover and the mounts and its not a great deal of expense.

    sorry bro i feel your pain mate,

    These covers were mainly on the Mk2 models so you may get one from there,

    When you do get it,

    remove it before going for a service as garages can forget to put them back on,

    Ispecially if you have it lookin tidy as you will.

    Sorry for laughing, just thought you would have looked at your engine before this,

    It's ok I don't trust garages for my services etc. Only go as a last resort.

    To be honest I just presumed I would have one. I shall not take that risk again. Lol.

    You may also require fitting bolts but finding the cover will tell.

    I'm looking an engine cover for my mk2.5 1.6 zetec will one like this fit from a cmax or where can i get one and what fittings do i need. also karl post some pics when you get yours finished. Lenny good job on your engine cover It suits the focus and look fantastic. Does the paint last with the engine heat and all?

    I believe you will need the same as lenny posted for my car. Not sure on the fixings. I haven't brought it yet as I need to respray the rear bumper. Wife had a fight with a bollard and come of second best. Lol. So engine cover has gone on hold for the time being. As soon as I've done it I'll post pics up though.
