Mk3 Something Not Connected

Hi all,

I was checking my rear lights when i noticed something unplugged.

But noting is missing around the connector, I have a 2011 mk3 titanium.

Here are some photos

The first is a large view and the second is the Grey thing

Probably just part of a wiring loom for something you don't have fitted to the car.

Extra socket, sub-woofer, towing accessory, etc...

That's what I would say too, either used for a towing accessory or a 'give away' connector to help reduce the vast complexity of looms they have to cope with in manufacture.
