Fiesta Mk7.5 Interior Lighting

Featured Replies

Ive just Changed my front centre light to an LED and was putting the centre light unit back in the roof.. the lights flickered and then went off...

Now the interior lights wont work (footwell lighting, back centre light, reading lights boot light)

Everything is working fine but the lights. Ive got a 12v tester on it and theres no power going to the constant live, which makes me think fuse.

Does anyone know what fuse powers these lights?

Thanks in advance!

It'll be in the manual, the fuse box is located behind the glove box.

I checked the manual i couldn't see anything relating to those lights

I can't see anything my manual either tbh, if you've got a multimeter check the fuses. If not visually inspect (take a while).

Actually I'm sure it's fuse number 1....

Yeah ive checked fuse one and its fine. Ive put all original bulbs back in and still not working. Its just the live wire has gone dead, not registering anything with the multi meter.

Im half thinking its nothing ive done as i only picked the car up today brand new! Starting to get a bit worried now!

Go through the fuses with your multimeter then and check through, if all okay then take it back and let them worry about it ha ha.

Interestingly, I was driving to work this morning and noticed that the drivers side dipped beam was not working, I took the car to my local ford thinking it was going to be a bulb change and they tested the car and said theres no power going to the headlight it self, Now I Don't no wether this a coincidence or not, but i'm taking the car back to the dealer today.

Let us know how you get on :)
