hi-everybody,

can some one please tell what is the cause of my mk6 fiesta keeps getting flat spot when ever I pull away from traffic lights or roundabouts, and how do I fix the problem, thanks.

this always happen when I am in third gear. please help

my fiesta is a petrol model , matthew I `ve never tried pulling away in third gear may be that's where I am going wrong.

I do now where Rangoon is and the right name.

Are you sure it's even a flat spot and just not the fact it's an 11 year old 1.4 Ford?

Most likely thing it's wanting new leads and plugs if it's struggling under load.

I agree with Matt here, its quite likely that its old components that are worn out and costing efficiency and performance.

I would say give the car a fantastic service, treat it to new plugs, leads, filters, juices and then try again.
