Accelerator Cable In Engine Bay

Hello,

Me, yet again! I have a 2002 1.8 TDCi focus that has a noise coming from the engine bay that only occurs when the accelerator is pressed. I need to find out where the noise is coming from, but I don't usually have a second pair of hands (or feet) to run the accelerator whilst I look in the engine bay. Can someone tell me where the accelerator cable is, in the engine bay, so that I can rev the engine without having to press the pedal?
