Ford Fiesta Ipod/iphone Music

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

I am new to the Ford Owners Club - so please be nice! :)

I have recently purchased a Ford Fiesta Studio (2014) from Ford directly.

I have got an iPhone 5 with a Lightning Connector - but whenever I try and plug it into the USB connection it seems to play a song automatically from my music app, it then continues to choose its own song and flicker through the songs whenever I try to select my own one.

Does anybody else have this issue? If so have you managed to get around it yet? It is really bugging me! Ford do not know anything about this issue either - I was thinking maybe its a Firmware issue but my cars only 3/4 weeks old so should be updated with the latest side of things?

The only way I have been able to sort this out is by buying a bluetooth USB and connecting the phone to it wirelessly to play music.

Many thanks guys!

Best thing to do really.......... Spend a few quid on a USB stick and leave it in the car, will save you the endless hassle with this badly made product.

What is displayed on the headunit when this happens? Is it bluetooth audio in or aux in?

It's aux in

It displays the song and then changes on the screen and the iPhone screen at the same time - skips by itself.
