Conductive Grease For Steering Wheel Squib?

Hi, guys.

I'm a bit stuck. My squib is making grinding noises, and is wearing away the pins that protrude from the control unit where the stalks are for controlling indicators, lights, windscreen wipers etc...

I need to replace the grease, but I'm having a hard time finding where to purchase it from. Please could you tell me which kind of grease I need? The existing stuff is black, but I assume it will need to conduct electricity in order for me horn to work.

Many thanks in advance.

Thanks for that. It seems that graphite is a poor lubricant, but I think you got me on the right track. I think it's CARBON grease I'm looking for.

Many thanks for your response!
