I had a DVD player fitted in my car a week ago but I getting a warning "PICTURE OFF FOR YOUR SAFETY" even when I am not driving the car. Pls help

    Which DVD are you referring to? is it stereo DVD, drop down DVD?

    Parking brake wire isn't attached. If it a Chinese player the ground the parking brake to bypass. Pioneer you need to use a relay. Or just connect the parking brake correctly but once parked is when the system will let you play DVD.

    It is designed to stop a driver watchibg a film while driving.

    You can find some unscrupulous traders on ebay selling a bypass.

    But on Pioneer it also stops you from inputting GPS info while moving. It just depends if someone is stupid enought to drive dangerously putting them and others. And risk their licence if caught watching a video while the car is moving which is an offence not illegal.
