Goodbye Hid Bulbs!

Featured Replies

Well I'm thinking it's time to part with my HID bulbs as I've found new toys! LED bulbs instead!

However a couple of questions on these, I understand they're actually brighter than my current HID's, what's the legality like on these things?

Obviously seeing I've got HID's in, I'm not too bothered on legality personally but it'd be nice to know :P

Thanks folks.

Hmm, I'd be interested in giving these a shot!

Post a link would you? :P

yeah i would be interested in giving these a shot as well as now days lot of manufactures and moving away from HID's and going towards Full LED's

Interesting, I would like to get these aswell are you looking at H7 LED bulbs?

I would like to know how they compare against the HID lights, I'm guessing you are going for the CREE model?

Expensive!

Go for it buddy. Then post pictures and tell us how they fit and compare to HIDs. I use the same shop for my bulbs and have always found them very helpful

Lumens wise, the slightly cheaper ones I think are 200 lumens higher than 35W HID's, so should be better, instant and more efficient. I'm just worried about the passenger side bulb, as the heat sink will be close to the washer bottle and might build up heat, going to have a see.
