pivic
Hi, I just bought a Fiesta 2003 1.4 LX 5d and it came with only one key with a W1 blue chip on it. I would like to buy a key with remote. Can I program both the immobiliser and remote buttons with my blue key and ignition? Or do I need two key or red key?And what key should I buy? I looked on eBay but the compatible vehicle doesn't work very well.... Then I can get it cut at Timpson's Thanks in advance.
Tubeman
Would love to know the answer to this one, as am in the same boat. Though from what I've found out so far, a local locksmiths that specializes in transponders keys will send a tech round to program New key on site Sent from my KFTHWI using Ford OC mobile app
pivic
From what I understand there are three things to be done, please correct me if I'm wrong. Starting from an order of a blank key from eBay, I need to: - Get the blade cut (Timpson's) - Turn the key with the W1 blue chip 4 times to ignition to access "learn mode", and press the buttons of the remote to program them. - Program the immobiliser (how? automatically programmed when the car is in learn mode?)
