PaulR1993
Hi all I have fitted an eonon stereo and it came with a cable for an iPod connection obvs place for this is the glove box but I was hoping someone could tell me how I could feed the cable from the stereo to the garage door part of the centre console so it's easier to plug and unplug? Any help would be great Thanks Sent from my iPhone using Ford OC

Stoney871
In that case I would summise that you have a garage door unit with no lighter socket in it which would also follow that you have no corresponding hole behind where the garage door unit fits? A couple of options are- 1/ remove the garage door unit and cut slots in the tray and the recess that line up so you can pass the cable through. 2/ remove the radio trim and radio then loosen the demister switch panel, pass the usb cable down behind the air control panel and behind the switch panel so it hangs out in front of the garage door. TBH the first option is tidier but a bit more involved. Another option- http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=331259181786 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Refitting-CD-DVD-Players-USB-interface-modification-Panel-For-Ford-Focus-05-08-B-/231264733089?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item35d873c7a1

PaulR1993
What would be the best way to remove the garage door bit? Sent from my iPhone using Ford OC
Stoney871
You need to remove the top panel of the centre console. Two screws on the front lip of the storage bin under the arm rest to release the handbrake cover. Pull the cover off over the handbrake. One screw in the cup holder tray. Unclip the gear surround (hook your fingers under the chromed trim by pinching under it through the gaiter) and unscrew the knob to remove. Reach under the console to unplug the front lighter socket (or start button if fitted). Lift the console top up at the rear and pull slightly rearwards to unhook 4 clips on the front where it attaches to the lower dash area. You may find a metal bracket across the base of the garage door unit which needs unbolting. The garage door unit pulls out from the bottom first and then unhooks from the dash.
