Your right and I bet now the ST3 is out they will sell many more of those as its better resale value for not a lot more. I bet if you can haggle you can get some good discounts on them as well.

    And how many st3s now sold as they claim most st2 were speced up to st3 levels anyway.

    That's certainly true for my car, the documentation says ST3 but the door label says ST2.
