Replacing The Volume Up & Down Steering Wheel Buttons.

Featured Replies

I'm back again with another post ;)

I brought myself a 2011 Fiesta Ztec S about 4 weeks ago however i noticed today that the volume up and down buttons on the steering wheel are abit of a hit and miss. I can use them sometimes if I push it quite hard but most of the other times it dosent do anything. It worked fine until a few days ago so not sure what happened there.. The Fiesta is under warranty from where I brought it so there sorting it out tomorrow hopefully. Out of interest how easy is it to fix it? & how do they fix it etc? :)

If it's the buttons at fault it'll take 5 minutes, three torx screws to remove steering wheel "v" trim and buttons, then unplug and fit new unit. Build back up and that's it :).
