But mk1 fiesta wouldn't have had cats though. Unfair statement from them. Should have said it would take 80 times longer for a modern car thief to nick a mk1 than a mk7 lol

Luckily no, my first car was a MK6. I was really just talking about the MK7 / 7.5, when I was looking for my 2nd car I noticed how all the magazines seemed to agree that if you want a small car the Fiesta is the best, and looks like they were right. Just like they all agree on the greatness of the ST :)

It's the steering, grip and handling that stands out for me. Even my little 1.4 is just brilliant on the twisty a-roads and once it's wound up it's a real blast simply because the undercarriage is so well set up.

My old P reg is creaky, slow, rolls like anything round corners and is burning oil... However, I still enjoy throwing it round corners that little bit too fast and enjoying it! Looks like Ford have always had that covered!

New ZS soon, I can see how much they've improved ;)
