It has a cross section and.you get out less than you put in

Every car has one bit petrol and diesel are different.

It's a crucial component that I'd removed your car wwould be useless???

The Exhaust ??

You get less harmfull gases out than you put in and its different on petrol and diesels and its basically on anything with an engine.

It's a crucial component that If removed your car wwould be useless - well, its a Ford, everythings a critical component otherwise it cacks itself and goes into limp mode :P :lol:
