Alloys - Fiesta

Featured Replies

Evening all,

I'm back in the market for 16" 17" alloy wheels for my fiesta. I don't mind what condition they are in (not to bad of cause) as I can get them reconditioned.

Anyone know of a set of 4 going? At a reasonable price?

This is my baby, any ideas of what would look best?

I got DRL's and a private plate so far (this photo was taken before I put the plate on)

Any advices?

The Style probably came with 15" so your speedo will misread and you need to tell your insurers.

Is it really the case? Even if someone changes to a genuine fiesta 17" alloy with the original tyres? Will it still misread the miles?

i did that, and wondering if that is the case..

Yeah I am aware if this. From my understanding the reason why the speedo is out is because the wheel has to turn more when driving and the speedo isn't calibrated for the bugger tyre. I know if have to have this done but would be worth it

Not really because if you change your rim from let's say 17" to 16" than your tyre has to be just a bit bigger.

I have 17" with 40 tyres for summer (205/40 r17) and my 16" winter wheels have 45 tyres (195/45 r16)

If the overall diameter of rim and tyre is the same it won't misread.

That's what I tried to say

Obviously but I doubt it will be or it would have an elastic band around it :P
