Hi all,

Just purchased a Ford Focus Mk3 in July 2014 and have a problem the drivers seat is very uncomfortable I pointed this out to the salesman on a test drive before I purchased it, He said it was because I had not adjusted the seat properly, But I now find out on journeys of over 1 hour I am in a lot of discomfort, I never had this problem on my old Focus Estate that was almost 15 years old. Has anyone else had a similar problem, the passenger seat appears to be o.k.

I might be stating the obvious but have u checked the lumbar adjuster on the side nearest centre console?

agreed, its worth checking the lumbar support and the angle of the chair.

I have tried the seat in all positions, come to the conclusion that the seat has moulded its self into the shape of the previous owner.

Bought a wedge shaped cushion it is now more comfortable.

This is the first car I have owned with a drivers seat problem, my old focus (almost 15 years old), the seats were as good as the day I bought it.
