Egr Blanking Plate

Featured Replies

Daft question, but what is a blind hole? I can feel excess material of the bolt sticking through the bottom of the bolt hole in the body.

That is the next idea I have, Jizzer. The stud has a little bit of wiggle space at the moment. I'm hoping that when the engine is cold, the stud and threads of the body will contract enough to let me get it out.

Some bolts would be absolutely amazing! PM inbound.

Hello, folks.

I've only gone and managed to get it out! It was sticking out of the valve a bit and was removable by finger tip! Lucky lucky lucky!

Jizzer, I can't thank you enough! I'll be using a couple to replace the one I have left (as a precaution) and the 7cm bolt I have keeping things secure for the mean time.

You really don't need to use that much effort to close the join up to make a seal.

And for the record, should anyone ever need new bolts, the shaft is 25mm long and an M6 thread.

Nice kye at least it wasnt as bad as you first thought drilling it would of been a nightmare
