Hello, I own a Fiesta Zetec MK7. I wanting to debadge the "fiesta" and possibly the "zetec". I have all the necessary equipment to do the job besides goo-gone. Is there any other house hold product that can do the job or is it best to go purchase goo-gone itself.

Any help is much appreciated

to be honest you could probably use in small doses of course - nail varnish remover.

The Acetone is what removes the sticky and its safe to use on hands, but I would say if you do use that on your car, just use it in small doses, then wipe down vigerously with a generously wet cloth between applications.

Wd40 works well used it many times to remove sticky, but last time I used isopropyl alcohol as I had some.

some Tesco petrol and an old sock or something from the Ann Summers collection generally found in the rear seat of footwells after a long weekend,

Petrol will melt polystyrene which is what the badges are held to the body with.
