04 Coil Problems

hi guys thanks in advance

a freind has an 04 fiesta that had running problems error code p0351 ignition coil so he bought a new 1 and the problem remained another check on the code reader and were getting the same code

so could he just be unlucky an bought a bad 1 or could it be something else

euro car parts are reluctunt to change the coil pack so dont realy want to buy another until weve elliminated anything else it could be thanks any advice will greatly received
