2009 Focus Aux Input

Featured Replies

Hello

I have just purchased a 2009 Focus Zetec. There is an aux connection in the glovebox but when i connect the jack cable (i have tried 3) no sound is played. The stereo is in Aux mode and i have taken out the glove box to check it is connected and everything seems fine. i have the volume set to high on my device and have also turned the stereo volume to max.

The stereo is a standard 6000cd.

Has anyone else has this issue and any ideas how to resolve.

Thanks

The factory fitted aux connector is known for issues with bad connectivity caused by the internal pins. Have you tried waggling the connector in the socket whilst playing something through the aux input? If still nothing then take it back and get them to fix under warranty

Hi Chris,

Thanks for the reply. I will give that a try tomorrow and hopefully it does the trick :)
