Remap In Surrey

Featured Replies

As per title really, Can anyone recommend a good re mapper in the surrey area ????

I Thank you in advance :D :D :driving: :driving:

I don't know any in Surrey but there is a remapped in Farnborough or if you need and exhaust down you can get a remap with it at longlife exhausts in Basingstoke. that's the nearest to me for exhausts as well. I'm sure more people will know mate.

I can give you a good contact near Bristol if you want, but thats a good couple of hours from you. Knows his stuff though.

only a couple of hours getting there, but once he's been remapped he will be home by tea

Lol I will have a look about if not I will come back to you peeps Thanks as for exhaust im not worried about that I can do that myself its just the mapping that's the tricky bit,

so with the DPF gutted remapped, egr blank and filter whats the rough outcome BHP wise you can increase from 110BHP TDCI ????

And what have people achieved so far ?

TOOT TOOT :D :driving:

www.aceremapping.co.uk ...... call the lad jordan .... he comes to you .....only charged me £195 for remapping and Dpf software delete ,also done EGR delete ...... i'm running 139 bhp at the flywheel... don't sound a lot but by gum you know there's some extra horses under the bonnet when you work the engine, couple that with a performance air filter, and a free flow exhaust, bobs your uncle and fannies your aunty and away you go...... :driving:

I am wanting to do that too Dpf gutted and mapped out. I've upgraded the intercooler on my 110. Seems to pull harder and approaching 70mpg. I think it depends on the mapper, the type of map and quality of parts installed. in my case when I get exhaust sorted including Dpf I should get around 150 but that's pushing it though. injectors start to max out then. so I'm aiming for maximum performance whilst having maximum economy. my target is to crack 75mpg. this is mainly motorway driving but I do drive all types of roads though.

Nice one Anthony THANKYOU I will look into that I will locate myself a dpf from work and remove innards as time is tight at the moment 139 ish bhp is fine its the drivability which comes of all the Wonga spent im interested in :D :driving:

Crikey its a bit odd talking to an Anthony and Ryan as they are my sons names lol :D :D :driving: :driving:

No problem Andy....... I've just done a round trip to Leicester and back and i manged to get 69.8 mpg..... the car pulled like a good un ,and i wasn't hanging around lets say i didn't drop below 80mph apart from the 50 mph on the M1 near Woodall services, and touched 125mph on the A19 were i know it's not possible for the local plod to hide without standing out like a plonker, but the drive was smooth and so easy to get to the higher speeds without trying.

DICLAIMER.... : DO NOT ENCOURAGE YOU TO SPEED AND BREAK THE LAW....... BUT HELL IT'S FUN WHEN YOU CAN.

no problem mate,

Will take a few weeks for the ecu to fully adjust to the new air filter and blanked egr but you should begin to see increased mpg if you sail her steady,

Gear change should feel slightly smoother too.

its nice to have a clutch that you can edge in gentle instead of off or on lol, oh yes I am in early learning stage now I still am so impressed on how much improved the low end power is with the egr blanked off, I will keep a keen eye on miles per tank, so far before any of this my car has been doing 500 miles + 85ish reserve miles to £63 full ish tank so onwards for more mpg :D :driving:
