Headlights Pulsing, Engine Throbbing At Idle

Featured Replies

I have a 2008 1.8tdci focus and recently I've noticed that the headlights seem to pulse constantly...also when stopped at traffic lights the engine throbs...should I be worried about this? Anyone have any ideas what could be the cause?

hi jack could be your battery is on the way out or altinator,

if your close to a halfords store perhaps CarrickMines, the staff have a hand held BOSCH battery check machine will give a print out of your batrery and altinator performance cost me 5 euro one time i used it,

Battery can run down alot even with engine running particularly if you're using A/C, headlights and listening to a CD all of these itens draw heavily on te electrical system.
