Lambda Sensor Light - What Does It Mean?

Hi there

I'm looking at a Ford Ka 1.3i collection, which seems to be a good one. The only real concern I have is that the lambda/oxygen warning light is on constantly. Despite this it passed its MOT just a few months back.

My question is whether I should be worried about this light, and if it is a problem how much it might be to fix.

Has anyone got any experience or advice?

Thank you very much

Oscar

Is it not just the engine management light? I've never come across a light for the lambda sensors.

I was wondering if it was the DPF regen light, but then when it clicked that it didnt have one I was wondering which it was!
