To Wind Deflector Or Not...

Featured Replies

Just wondering what you guys opinions are of wind deflectors on the MK 7 Fiesta (mine is 3 door). I can't make up my mind if I like them or not. Cheers :)

I had some on my mk7 and thought they set the car off well. Only trouble I had with the ford clima air ones were they scratched the top of the glass.

Team heko ones are meant to be good to.

Go on treat yourself and the car ;)

I think they look awful, but I can see the functional benefits if you like to open the windows.

Each to there own I guess.. I had them just for the look at first but turned out they were pretty functional too

I think they look good on dark coloured cars as they don't stand out as much. Function over form for me on wind deflectors, not much a fan.

Not a fan of the looks but there defiantly useful, just don't put the clips in if you get the team hekos. I've took mine of the now

I had team heko on my old car (fiesta zetec blue) it set the car off and worked REALLY well for the hot weather also i found them good because it would act as sunglasses (like a shade) at the top of doors so didn't have the low sun in my eyes i used the heko with clips and it didnt scratch the window only thing i had a complaint about was when i washed the car it missed the top of the windows so had to put them down a little and give a wipe :P Im ordering them for my new car but other stuff to order first

forgot to say when i traded my car in it was mint and was going to get £2750 (actually thought i was getting slightly less) but the guy put it to £2790 to reimburse me as i said i would take them off n sell them but he said it attracts younger drivers to buy it for first car lol

Got them for the look, and as above, they added functionality.

They do have sunblocking properties but very minimal, when it's raining and you want fresh air (some people don't want aircon) you can still have the windows open and not get wet, and of course, wind doesn't fly around in the faces of your backseat passengers, if you care about their hair anyway.

i like em, look fine on my 3door.

I had them on the Fiesta but didn't like the reduced visibility so never bothered on my Focus and haven't really missed them.

So what make do you guys prefer? TeamHeko? or Climair?

I'm not a big fan, I can see the advantage of having it, but personally I don't like the look

Anyone got a set on a Mondeo estate ? i've been mulling over getting some for a while but never had them on any previous cars (Vauxhall and Nissan) ...
