Pictures Rs Owners Club Ireland Meet @ Bolands Ford New Ross Co. Wexford

Hi all,

Here are some pictures from todays show at Bolands Ford in New Ross Co. Wexford Ireland

Supported by RS owners club Ireland,

I wasnt aware that non RS models would be acceptable on display so i was in the car park but there's always next year,

Thanks for the pictures Lenny. Didn't know this was on or else I would have gone for a drive down there :P You got some lovely pictures there. Think my favourite is the Cosworth Escort with the tail in blue. That is a thing of beauty and quite rare.

Next year, I think you should enter your car. Some great modelling there by Vicki :)

I didn't know about it until earlier in the week,

Vicki does Facebook and has joined the RS Owners on there that's how she got the info,

She said today that they had a meet last month in Tullamore aswell.

I must keep in tune with it.

My focus hasn't been washed in over five weeks, and the front lip is Starting to depart from the bumper,

Still had around six people stop to view it in the car park which was nice,

I fell in love with the blue capri, and the V6 escort,

Amazing to see so many RS and ST in the country aswell,

Still theres two RS focus here in the town that were not in attendance a white and a green, the green is owned by a Sargent here in the town whom informed me that theres only 19 focus RS registered in ireland,

The white one belongs to a driving instructor which i think is pretty sweet: lol:

My neighbor has a canary yellow Mustang MachIII which wasnt there neither.

Theres a Mk3 blue ST focus in Arklow wasnt there neither,

Still a good turn out of people and the weather stayed good,

I might enter the focus next year, costs nothing and there were a few ST170 there so there not all agentst diesel,

Did spot another zetecS in graphite grey a 2008 pictured above thought i was the only Zs around looks great in the charcoal too.

They have a section for non RS fords which has quite a few members ive mirrored my build thread on there and all 28 guides as saw on this forum :)

James is the guys name whom owners the V6 Cosworth Escort,

He had it custom fitted in to the escort there's only two like that in the world,

One was a prototype by ford to compete with the golf V6 at the time but never went in to production.

James has made an outstanding job of making the transplant look completely factory,

The whole car is a complete work of art rite down to the anodised wheel nuts.

Top respect to the guy its looking fantastic,

if i won the Lotto or get made redundant in twenty years time id build myself a replica of his,

Which reminds me that i really must get back to the guy, i was in contact with him a few weeks ago and got tied up with work and family in recent weeks i haven't had a chance to get back to him to continue discussing his custom built escort.

There a very friendly and knowledgeable group of enthusiasts.

I never saw one on the road mate,

Fine looking motor bucket seats and roll cage too in that perticular model :)
