Sounds like a possibility I would be checking the connectivity on the earth

If you can get to the connectors on the sensors at the back of the bumper, try disconnecting them one at a time and see if you still get the constant tone?

That'll maybe give you a better idea if it's a sensor faulty rather than the module.

The earth is behind the boot panel left hand side

If you unplug them one of turn you should find the bad sensor but I think you did that without success?

Sounds certainly like a bad module to me.

You could replace it with aftermarket sets? Basic kit can be 8 quid

If one isnt ticking then replace that sensor. That could be the problem. Have you checked you got power going to each sensor?

Long shot, and maybe someone with more experience will be able to say it's a daft idea before you proceed, but try unplugging all of the sensors. If the system can function with a sensor missing, then perhaps it will function with them all missing. (I'm thinking that you could have more than one sensor malfunctioning and removing one at a time hasn't gone far enough).

Out of interest, did you powerhose across the sensors at all??

I distinctly remember one instance when it was raining sideways for a few days straight and my reversing sensors went mad until they had dried out.

Check for mud on the underside of the bumper against the sensor. Always set of my landrover ones and was kind of annavoidable
