Heater Resister Location

Its my understanding that my heater resister is located driver side diagnal to the clutch pedal however im struggling to find it due to a panel under my steering wheel that say airbag on it.

Does this panel come off ??

    Not 100% certain, but that's generally a good place to look.

    Quite often if you can get your head down in the footwell and shine a torch upwards into the centre console, you can see it. Shouldn't need to remove any panels, but it is a fiddly place to get too.
