Perimeter Alarm - Zetec S

Featured Replies

I've just tried the alarm for the first time and nothing happened. Does everyone else's work OK?

I double locked with the window down and then tried to open the car by putting my hand through the window

It will only alarm if it detects unauthorized entry.

There are no internal sensors, so the door would need to be opened without the car being unlocked for example. I'm not sure how you'd test it.

Ah OK cheers. I knew it didn't detect movement but thought the action of trying the handle inside would set it off. No way of testing then. Cheers

It may be possible to only single lock the doors then try and open the handle with the window open, but I don't know if the alarm will arm on only single lock :/

Opening the bonnet with the car locked will set the alarm off ;)

or sit in car lock it (with key) then open the doors from inside sets them off! found this out by mistake lol!!!!
