    So more than have just given me a quote of 450 a year for fully comp insurance, protected no claims, cover car, and all the other little bits at £50 a month.... but gap insurance, i just looked and with gapinsurance123 its £220 a year and cant pay monthly? why not? F... it, i might just call esure and get a quote for both in one from them haha

    ALA also let you spread the payments. I don't know why it would be £220 a year when I paid £120 for 3 years. What kind of gap was that and what was the amount of cover? (mine was back to invoice and £15k)

    It was replacement cover for 5 years up to 15000. Just says 220 and won't let you split it. I'll have a look at some of the other places :)

    I think it's about the same on ALA for that kind of cover, and hopefully you can split it.

    I'm with tescos at the moment but i have thought about gap insurance as an extra since my car is basically new, had one owner with 7500 miles at time of purchase from ford dealer. just looked up a price on ALA and was £100 for 3 years... decisions!
